2003 Salmon River Run

Every year the WWA undertakes a Salmon River Run into the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.  The event is generally held on the Thursday and Friday after the second weekend in April.

April 17 & 18 were the big days for the 2003 trek.  It was a typical spring on the middle Salmon, cool partly cloudy mornings, with the sun showing up a fair bit in the afternoons.  There was a good turn out and a sizeable number of boats were able to make their way up the river.  After a short stop at James Ranch, the group continued on to 5-Mile Bar.
