2004 Glenns Ferry Hog Fest

The Western Whitewater Association hosts an annual Hog Fest each year in Glenns Ferry, Idaho.  The event is held on a weekend in mid-March.

March 13 and 14 was the weekend for the 2004 fest.  The weather was beautiful and the river flow was right at 6,600 cfs on both days.  There was a great turnout with 53 boats running on Saturday and 25 on Sunday.  Several members ran Peg Leg Rapids - some more successfully than others.  We saw lots of wet windshields and a few broken ones.  And Saturday night - WOW!  If you weren't there to enjoy that roasted pig and all the other fixin's, you missed out on one fine time.
