2005 Hammer Creek Fishing Days

Each year in late October, the Western Whitewater Association hosts the Hammer Creek Fishing Days on the Salmon River at Hammer Creek Recreation Area.

The 2005 event was held over the weekend of October 22 & 23.  They were beautiful fall days - cool in the morning, but warming up by midday and generally clear.  River flow was right at 3,800 cfs through the weekend.  There was a good turnout, the fishing was fair, and as usual it was another fine weekend on the river.
