2005 Salmon River Run

Each year the WWA holds a Salmon River Run during which the participants travel into the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness.  The event is held on the Thursday and Friday after the second weekend in April.

The 2005 event was held on April 14 & 15.  The weather cooperated on both days - Friday was particularly nice.  Water levels were lower than desirable - 6,700 cfs throughout the event- and that reduced participation on the daily runs.  However, there was a good group and all who showed up at Spring Bar for the event had a memorable outing, and those who headed up river thoroughly enjoyed the runs.
