2005 Skills Day

Each year in June, the WWA organizes a Skills Day to help new members improve their jetboating safety and operational skills.

The 2005 event was held on Saturday, June 4, on the Snake River just below Brownlee Dam along the Idaho/Oregon border.  It was a beautiful, warm day and there was good turn out of new, as well as experienced, jetboaters.  Saturday evening the membership held a potluck supper with the WWA providing hamburgers and hot dogs for the crowd.  From all accounts this year's event was a great success providing excellent training, good food, and a great time.
